Incorporated in 1999, as part of the strategy of Casais Engenharia e Construção, Carpin - Casais Wood & Metal has as its main objective, to provide self-sufficiency industrial production sections.

Through the image of quality acquired by Casais Engenharia e Construção in the market and with a multidisciplinary team able to respond to the most demanding projects in the carpentry area, Carpin - Casais Wood & Metal is distinguished by the comprehensiveness of the manufactured products and by the rigor in compliance with the deadlines and technical specifications of each project. 

Some reference dates in the history of Carpin – Casais Wood & Metal:

2004 – Implementation of the Quality Management System.

2005 – Quality Management System recognized by SGS.

2006 – Implementation of a lacquering and varnishing section.

2006 – Implementation of control software and online production management.

2007 – Internationalization for Gibraltar.

2008 – Turnover increases by 30%, the process of internationalization with works in Angola and Gibraltar is consolidated.

2009 - Opening of 2 physical spaces to support works in Lisbon and Algarve. Elevation of the Construction Permit for class 5 of subcategory 6 and for class 2, subcategory 5.

2010 - Obtaining CE marking of doors and windows. Participation in fairs both National and International, we were present at Exponor - Project House. Investment in the increase of productive capacity with the acquisition of a 5-axis CNC.

2011 - Participation in the Hannover Fair - Domotex and Brazil - Mega Feirão of furniture and construction. Acquisition of a line for the manufacture of doors, a paint robot, transport system in the production area, coverage between the two pavilions and expansion / improvement of the suction system of the production area. Opening of office in France and internationalization for Algeria.

2012 - Attachment of the metalwoks section. Elevation of the Class 5 license in the 7th subcategory "Works in non-structural sections", of the 1st category - Class 3 in the 9th subcategory "Facilities without specific qualification", of the 1st category. The 3rd sub-category "Timber Structures", of the 1st category, rose from class 3 to class 4. Carpin - Casais Wood & Metal extends its scope of certification to produce locksmithing, to appear as follows: Design, Production and Assembly of Carpentry and Locksmithing Solutions. Production and Assembly of Furniture. Opening of the Belgian branch.

2013 - Continuity of the plan to extend the activity to international markets.

2014 - Opening of the branch in France. Increase in international turnover, particularly in the markets of Algeria and Mozambique.

2015 - Developed and approved new products by the Department of Design and Development.

2016 - Extension of the scope of the CE Marking of doors and windows with the inclusion of horizontal pivoting, guillotine, folding sliding, parallel sliding doors and sliding elevating typologies.

2017 - Obtaining certification in CE Marking of Metal Structures, according to EN 1090-1: 2009 + A1: 2011.

2018 - Logos rebranding – Casais Wood & Metal and ArchiwoodXXI brands.

2019 - Launch of the company's new website.

2019/20 - Painting area improvement with the acquisition of a new painting booth, pavement improvement and installation of automatic gates.
