CARPIN awarded the C2Ø – Construction to Zero Commitment Seal

We are proud to announce that CARPIN has received the C2Ø – Construction to Zero Commitment Seal, granted as a result of our participation in the capacity-building actions carried out within the scope of this project. 

The C2Ø – Construction to Zero project is a joint initiative of the PTPC – Portuguese Technological Platform for Construction and ATIC – Portuguese Technical Association for Cement, with the support of 3Drivers and BUILT CoLAB, and co-funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU, under the PRR – Recovery and Resilience Plan. 

Between April and May, CARPIN actively took part in several activities of the project. We began with an initial workshop focused on the material and energy flows of the construction sector, key decarbonisation hotspots, and potential synergy opportunities between industries. 

This was followed by individualised consultancy sessions with the 3Drivers team, providing us with tools and insights to start our decarbonisation journey. The result was a diagnosis of our current sustainability status and a roadmap of measures we can now apply independently. 

This achievement strengthens our commitment to sustainability in the construction industry — a journey we pursue with dedication and responsibility.
