CARPIN receives FSC® Certificate (AENOR) during FSC Forest Week 2023
CARPIN was honored to receive the prestigious FSC® Certificate (AENOR) during the FSC Forest Week 2023, promoted by FSC Portugal. This achievement reflects our ongoing commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility in the wood and carpentry industry, following the certification already announced in May of this year.
The certificate, designated as AEN-COC-001039, covers the production of interior and exterior carpentry elements and furniture, including cutting, machining, finishing, and assembly.
We are committed to adopting the FSC MIX label, which employs a percentage system to ensure traceability and responsible sourcing of the wood used in all our products. This accomplishment represents a significant milestone in our strategy to promote sustainability and contribute to a more responsible industrial sector. CARPIN fully acknowledges the impact of its activities on the environment and society and is dedicated to playing a positive role in building a more sustainable future for future generations.
During the FSC Forest Week 2023, in addition to the certificate award ceremony, several online sessions and in-person activities took place, aiming to promote sustainable practices in forest management.
